Lifecycle and behavior: Eggs are usually laid singular near the leafnodes on the hostplant. The egg hatches after about 1 week. The larva ate the leaves of the hostplant, i did not observe them eating on the flowerbuds. They used about 2 weeks from newly hatched to the prepupal stage, and molted 4 times. The pupal stage lasted for about 2 weeks aswell. The adults fly in atleast 2 generations from early April into September and hibernates as adults in the autum.
